Flow-X series

The Flow-X is the most accurate and secure flow computer on the market today. It can be used for gas, liquid and steam and provides configurable functionality to control any flow measurement system.

Qindle’s technical director Wolter Prinsen and his team defined the hardware strategy, the design of the Flow-X/M module and all the modular enclosures to create multi stream flow computers to measure and control oil & gas flows.

The project includes engineering, prototyping and production sourcing of all mechanical parts. Thanks to this successful innovation, Spirit-IT was acquired by ABB, for further global growth of ABB’s measurement business in the oil and gas industry.
